The stars highlighted in the brief comic book stories are:
Roger Crozier, Henri Richard, Danny Grant, Tony Esposito, Gary Unger, Dave Keon, Ken Dryden, Gordie Howe, Rod Gilbert, Juha Widing, Orland Kurtenbach, Jude Drouin
All hockey stars featured in these booklets have a card to go with it except Tony Esposito. Both cards & booklets are from 1971-72.
The cards & booklets are excellent to the eye, not dog-eared nor folded nor creased but rather looking like what cards should look like despite their 50 plus years.
These are "rags to riches" stories, hockey style, i.e how they became hockey stars. The hockey cards have the players' stats on the back w/a short bio or hockey resume & a cartoon witticism about the player.
