Antique copy of the Poetical Works of Thomas Moore, dated 1860. From a collection in Front Royal, VA, originally from the personal library of Bernard Samuels, a prominent doctor from Warren County. This book was gifted to Dr. Samuels' mother and includes an original hand-written note from a soldier (John J. Johnson) who gifted it to her. The soldier is believed to be buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, VA. As-is condition.
Condition: Shows signs of age, including page discoloration, missing part of the spine cover, and binding damage. The front cover is intact but fragile. Pages seem fully intact. Dimensions: 9 1/4" x 6". Ideal for Google & Mercari search. A unique piece of history.
