Sectional Steamer & Hose. Springfield, Mass: Milton Bradley, circa 1880. Jigsaw puzzle with 23 of 24 pieces (one piece is missing). The chromolithograph pieces assemble to form a 14” x 20’ panoramic street scene featuring six racing late 1800s horse-drawn fire wagons. The puzzle shows wear with some incomplete pieces and paper missing (see pics).
There are two variations of this puzzle, each showing different types of fire wagons.
Worthpoint lists one complete and one partial puzzle as having been sold at auction in the last five years.
This auction is for the six wagon horse drawn jigsaw puzzle by Milton Bradley circa 1880. It does not have its original box. Rare collectible.
