Possible 1887 Vincent Van Gogh tintype. Believed to be only the second image of the artist ever found and the only tintype in existence showing him as depicted in the popular online image.
Comparable to photo card taken on the same day (pictured). Historians believe Van Gogh was uncomfortable having his photo taken. Sold as-is, without documented provenance. Potentially a significant discovery. Untested.
