A rare original survivor: 1965 Sears Roebuck 20” Tote Bike. In virtually near mint condition with all original matching parts, except for new gumwall tires.
This “Tote Cycle” is a 20” folding/collapsible cargo bike featuring steel & chrome-plated 20” cmc rims with a rear, Sturmey Archer 3-speed internally geared hub equipped with an internal “back pedal” coaster brake. The 3-speed hub is wired to a lever shifter on the seat tube (stock feature), and is working. Also includes a front hand brake caliper. The bike has a frame-welded rear storage rack & a front alloy removable rack. F&R chrome fenders, crank & chainguard & gold paint are in incredibly mint original condition.
Bike can be separated via 2 locking nuts & a steel lip located at central main tubes for vehicle transport. A true piece of cycling history!
