Edwardian era (1900 to 1910) 10K yellow gold brooch featuring a hand-carved Cornelian shell cameo (Cypraeacassis Rufa). The cameo depicts a lovely woman with flowers in her hair. Features a handmade safety clasp and hinge. In excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. Dimensions: Brooch is 1 3/8 x 1 inch (3.3 x 2.4 cm). Cameo is 25 x 18 mm. Weight is 4.5 grams. Markings: 10K on brooch.
