Antique 1920’s Co-Operative Flint glass Frog candy dish with Uranium glass base. HTF (Hard To Find) and RARE!
The top/lid is pale mint green with a matte exterior, realistic body contour lines, and painted black eyes. The interior has an iridescent glossy finish. Tiny chip on inner rim of the front (mouth). Rough specs on inner rim at the back, and also on the exterior rim at the front. Top does not glow under UV light.
The bottom/base is a darker sea green with a bright glow under UV light. Tiny rough specs on the inner rim on the mouth, small chip on the inner rim of one side.
Imperfections are nearly invisible on display.
A unique piece! The two different greens display as if the frog was submerged underwater. Great for collectors of animal-covered dishes, depression glass, or uranium glass.
