Rare antique brass Candlestick UT (United Telephone) telephone with a walnut ringer box from the 1920s. Great vintage, used condition. The dial rotates smoothly; numbers and letters are clear. Both telephone and ringer box are marked UT. Sold as-is, untested.
UT contracted Sterling to manufacture phones for them in the 1920s and 1930s. The nickel plating shows wear, revealing some brass. This has a walnut bell box attached. Refinishing the wood would enhance its beauty. The mouthpiece has a chip, and there's also a chip on the bottom of the phone.
Numerous parts of this phone are interchangeable with Western Electric.
From a smoke-free environment and will be packaged with care.
