Highly collectible antique Halloween "Scratch Cat" decoration made by Beistle circa 1920s to 1930s.
This is a six-piece, single-sided, three-rivet, jointed die cut, that allows it to be posed. Measures 21" from edge of whiskers to end of tail, and 15" from ear tip to bottom of paw. A truly antique piece. In great condition for its age. Upon closer inspection with a magnifying glass, the serrated edges of the fur have spots that are dinged from moving the legs and tail back and forth. There are two light, unnoticeable creases on the front paws and a few unnoticeable scuffs here and there. The hang hole has some wear.
