An antique 17th-century Dutch Roemer wine glass (Römer), dating back to the second half of the 17th century, originating from Germany, crafted for the Dutch market. Made of clear green glass (Waldglas).
Details:
- Features a spherical bowl.
- Stem adorned with multiple rows of raspberry prunts.
- Transition from the bowl to the stem is marked by a milled thread.
- Conical coiled foot.
Height: 21 cm. Diameter: 10 cm.
These rare glasses were used to serve Rhine wine and often appeared in 17th-century still-life paintings.
