Rare antique Edwardian 14kt rose gold diamond lavalier necklace. Features a central approximately 1/4 carat OE (or mine cut) cognac diamond in a buttercup setting, surrounded by delicate filigree and tiny pearls. The spiral drop and chain are more modern additions. In the 1600s, lavaliers were popularized by Louise de La Vallière. Popular from 1900-1930. * 16" gold chain, 1" spiral drop to the pendant, and the pendant itself is 1" long. Some fine repairs have been made to this over 100-year-old piece. See all photos.
