A captivating antique pewter stein, originating from Germany. This collectible piece showcases detailed relief designs, embodying the essence of traditional brewing culture. The lidded stein is a true work of art, a functional vessel and a testament to German craftsmanship. The high-relief design on the top features a ship and a warrior with "Hansa" inscribed. The Hansa was a German ship which served in the Kriegsmarine during World War II. It was the last German ship to be converted into an auxiliary cruiser. It was used to transport soldiers and civilians during the Baltic Sea evacuations from September 1944 to May 1945. Untested, sold as-is.
