Beautiful antique leather trinket box with a sterling silver lid, featuring a stunning repoussé mermaid among swirling ocean waves. Hallmarked, indicating sterling quality and British origin, likely from the late Victorian or Edwardian era (circa 1890–1910). Elegant Art Nouveau design showcases fine craftsmanship.
Hallmarks include a maker's mark, lion passant for sterling, and additional British assay marks. In good antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina.
