Rare antique original four-page letter on Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co. letterhead with original envelope. Written and signed by General Agent Frank Turpen in 1893. The letter discusses economic and strike troubles happening in Alabama, including the sheriff 'skipping town' and Governor Jones sending in troops. Includes a leaflet titled 'After the Strike', a parody of 'After the Ball'.
