Rare antique wooden countertop sign for Michaels, Stern & Co. Clothing of Rochester, NY.
In excellent condition with extremely fine surface scratches on the lacquer finish. Minor impurity in the wood veneer beneath the finish.

Excellent addition to any advertising collection. Michaels, Stern & Co. was a Rochester-based manufacturer of men's tailored suits and apparel, founded in 1849 and liquidated in 1977.
