Purchased at an estate sale in Oregon; previously owned by a German immigrant who collected and repaired antique clocks. This clock is working, but I do not know the extent of any prior repairs.
Features a winding mechanism on the back and a hand-set option, plus a F--S scale. This is done in a dark tone metal and riveted into the back of the clock. Plate shows no signs of wear.
Glass face with a brass or bronze ring. Glass is in good shape. Metal ring frame is showing some degradation.
NEW ENGLAND CRAFTSMANSHIP RARE COLOR KEEPS TIME SIGNED.
