VERY RARE! Antique Victorian bone hand whist marker.
Features a carved bone hand that spins across a wooden disc with numbers marked 0-9. Used to keep score in the card game of Whist, popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Whist evolved into Contract Bridge.
This Goodall type counter is highly collectible due to its elegant and simple design. Measures 2 1/4 in diameter and about 1 inch tall.
