Rare Art Nouveau figurine by A. Förster & Co. (Wiener), Vienna Ceramics Werkstatte. Produced between 1899-1908.
Dimensions: 9” x 5”. Weighs 1.01 lbs.
This piece was produced by A. Förster of Wien, a precursor to the Wiener Kuntskeramische Werkstaette. This period piece bears their stamped round makers mark. It is not a bee, but a stylized open-wing stag beetle, the registered trademark of Förster.
