Vintage from the 1940s. One of the original first printings (1943) of The Fountainhead with errors! Collectible early edition.
"The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. Published in 1943 by The Bobbs-Merrill Company.
Cloth boards dark red, complete with letters on the spine (not very visible). Points of errata (error) from the previous edition: reference is made to the spelling error "Rferred" on p. 321. On page 9, the 9 appears as an "o". Dominique misspelled "Domininque" on p. 480. "G.W." the 'G' is shorter on p. 381. Gold lettering on the book cover. Some pages have small wrinkles or stains. The name of the previous owner on the front paper. Some aging on the top and sides of pages, but the spine and binding are in excellent condition.
