Believed to attract a good harvest and ward off evil spirits when placed under houses. Dates prior to the 15th and 16th centuries, considered among the earliest forms of art from West Africa. Approximately 9” tall. In a sitting, self-embracing pose. Pre-owned in good vintage condition. As-is.
