The inserts are washed because I prepped for them use, but I had a NICU baby and was not able to use them. I absolutely love this brand! They are so easy to use and are intended to be enough on a three day wash cycle that it is the only set of diapers you’ll need until they outgrow them. They get softer with each wash. <br>Covers retail for $18.50 each <br>Inserts retail 3 for $39 <br>(I added three packs of bamboo liners as well. They are not the same brand but I was planning on lining the diapers with them)
