Vintage 1933 framed painting by Fritz Faiss (1905-1981). Titled "Rural Area" and signed.
The original owner says the piece is pre-1933. Fritz Faiss was born in the Black Forest section of Germany. He trained as a medical doctor and was a student at the Bauhaus and the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts. He was part of the abstract expressionist movement. In excellent condition. The outside dimensions measures approx 13h x 16w inches. See pictures for details.
