Vintage Herter's 8x40 Binoculars, meticulously cleaned and restored.
Prisms cleaned, inner facing frosted side blackened for improved brightness and contrast. Focuser and right eye diopter lubed for smooth operation.
Remarkably great condition for its age (1950s). Build quality is exceptional. Optics are hand-finished. Compared favorably to a Swift Audobon 8.5x44. Case in fantastic shape with original leather carry strap, conditioned. Should not need servicing for a decade or more.
