A vintage Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi-Notsjö art glass bowl, model #268, signed and dated 1960. This conical-shaped art object is crafted from yellow amber and clear cased glass. Designed by Kaj Franck and executed by the Nuutajärvi-Notsjö glassworks in 1960, this is an early example of this piece. Measures 7” tall and 7” in diameter.
In excellent condition, without flaws. These art objects were produced between 1955 and 1964 in four colors (green, blue, yellow, and clear) and three sizes. This is a medium-sized yellow example.
Kaj Franck's modernist designs are celebrated in museums worldwide.
