This discontinued Katherine's Collection Day of the Dead Frida Kahlo in a Blue Scarf is new old stock (NOS). It has never been used or displayed and comes with its original tag and cardboard box.
Katherine's Collection is known for their attention to detail, and this piece is no exception. Retired in 2017.
Made of hand-painted resin with cloth flowers and glitter accents. Her bony arms are adorned by bead bracelets. She has gold and blue rhinestone earrings.
Frida is not flat on the frame—she hangs out from her lower portion.
There is a wire armature at the arm hinge points (shoulders and elbows) so that you can carefully position the arms.
A black fringe satiny blue scarf can be draped around her shoulders. The scarf is reversible to all black, or you can remove it and replace it with your own material.
The back has a metal triangle to hang her from.
She measures 13 1/2” tall without the scarf by 9” wide by 4” deep.
