This is for the KISS DESTROYER album, the album that launched them into international fame and their first European tour. After their GOLD album "Alive," Destroyer went GOLD and then PLATINUM within months of its release. KISS entered the big leagues with their 3rd recorded album, and Destroyer was the achievement they needed at a time when their future was uncertain. Now, with two smash albums in a row and the attention of rock jocks everywhere, KISS was "on the record."
Released in March 1976, it went GOLD in April and PLATINUM in November of the same year.
The framed photos are taken from each individual KISS member's solo albums and photo shopped with just their names on the lower left side. The framed photos are 9 X 12 (frame size), nearly as tall as the award, which is a shadow box 13 X 13 X 1" deep. The platinum LP has 3D effect graphics with a red velvet "pock-marked" back as seen in the listing photos.
