Otto Freundlich Original Exhibition Poster from Museum Ludwig Köln Dom/HBF (Cologne, Germany Cathedral), 2017. Featuring "Sphärische Körper, 1925" (Spherical bodies) Kosmischer Kommunismus (Cosmic Communism).
In excellent condition with very minor handling. Measurements: W 23 3/8" x H 33" (59.4cm x 83.8cm). Original exhibition dates: February 18 to May 14, 2017.
Otto Freundlich was a shop-apprentice who later studied art history. He began painting and sculpting at 27, specializing in constructive painting from 1908, using pure color. He moved to Paris in 1909 and befriended Picasso. He exhibited with the Cubists and composed his first abstract paintings in 1919.
