Pair of highly ornate hand-painted marionettes. One is male with a pointed hat and layered ornate garb, the other female dressed more simply but also has sequins. The faces are beautifully painted, and both mouths and necks move, as do the detailed hands. I believe the female has human or animal hair. Not all strings are attached, and some are still slightly tangled. If you have the skillset, they could be reanimated, but they also make for a striking decor piece.
