Genuine antique 18th-century compound lathe in wood box. A watchmaker tool made of solid cast iron and brass, cleaned and lightly polished. In usable condition. However, being nearly 300 years old, no guarantees that it works perfectly or with precision, or that it works at all. More of a precious genuine antique relic for display, education, or as a collector's item. Belongs in a museum and is likely priceless.
