Memoirs, Journal and Correspondence of Thomas Moore Vol. 2 First Edition 1853, leather-bound.<br><br>What makes this book really special is the Bookplate of its original owner: William Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland (1857-1943) British Duke and Master of the Horse.<br><br>The Duke and his wife were prolific collectors, including of books, and a book was published listing the contents of his library. The last photo shows this book and I confirmed that the book for sale here was listed therein.<br><br>Some minor foxing but otherwise in excellent condition.
