Rare set of two antique Dixie E.P.P. Co. blue flower and gold porcelain oval tureens and lids. Made in the 1800s by the East Palestine Pottery Company of Ohio (later W.S. George Pottery).
Each tureen features the maker's mark "DIXIE E.P.P Co" and gold number "1439" on the underside of the lid. Dimensions: 6.5" tall, 11" wide, and 7.25" in length.
Excellent shape with expected age-related discolorations, crazing, and fading. Kept in a non-smoking home.
