RARE 1930s Art Deco McLelland Barklay Gold Plated Rhinestone Figural Flower Pinwheel Brooch. A unique and colorful three-dimensional flower bouquet brooch featuring four flowers. The largest flower has a swedge style design with different colored prong-set rhinestones, including bright green uranium glass. Silver-tone back petals are inset with tiny sparkling crystal rhinestones. Two "puffy" open-work shiny gold-tone metal flowers have prong-set rhinestones (purple and blue) raised in the center, surrounded by tiny rhinestones. The fourth flower is smaller and pink. Detailed leaves have a "curl” inset with more crystals. Set in gold-plated metal with silver-tone details.
Measuring 2.75” long & 2.25” across. A verified unsigned piece in good vintage condition with 7 tiny clear pave stones missing. A stunning collector’s piece.
