Dedicated to Sherard's wife, Irene Osgood. This copy is inscribed and signed by Osgood to a "Mr. Ester" for Christmas 1909!
This is a RARE book, made even more exceptional by the signature! Sherard was a friend and biographer of Oscar Wilde and knew prominent French writers.
Condition: Very Good. Some darkening on covers, bumped corners, and a bent corner on the bottom front cover. Bumping on the top/bottom of the spine. Gilt in Very Good condition. Interior in Good condition with some staining/browning on some pages. Please see photos for details.
