Rare Schmelzer Vintage Hickory Putter no1 from Schmelrers, a Kansas City company that went out of business in 1931. Clubs possibly over 100 years old! Sold *as-is*, *untested*.
It's a fantastic club that takes an accuracy of stroke and gives a maneuverability modern putters could never produce. It gives a "feel" unlike other putters. In amazing shape for the age. It has a little string that I believe was attached to the grip but I REFUSE to try and reattach it. It will be included of course. Other than a few "tinkering" putts it was NEVER used by me to golf with. I've included a write up from antiquegolfscotland.c as description of the company for some history.
