The 1819/1818 Overdate is a well-known and sought-after early United States Coinage overdate. This is a rare variety within the series.
Red Book Value (Reference): $700
The overdated dies were created as the result of a hubbing error. A working die was impressed with a hub dated 1818 and subsequently given another impression from a hub dated 1819. Sold as-is.
