Previously published in 2006 exclusively for yoga teachers, amended here for use by teachers and the general public. Illustrated.
This is a hard-to-find yoga/spirituality/meditation/philosophy book aimed at linking the ancient history of yoga with the modern Western version of the practice. Jacket protected in a new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges, including some creasing and chipping. Boards are straight and clean but with bumped corners. Very slightly cocked spine with a few instances of visible binding material in gutters, though binding remains firm on the whole. Glue from the binding process has discolored hinges a bit. Some sparse underlining and margin marks throughout. See photos for condition. Shipped via Media Mail. Sold as-is.
