Six Villeroy and Boch, Footed, Flat Cream Soup Bowls in Retired Riviera Pattern

Offered are six difficult to find, footed, handled, flat cream soup bowls crafted by Villeroy &amp; Boch (Luxembourg) in the Riviera pattern. This retired pattern features blue, yellow, and pink pastel florals on bone white, brightly finished, high quality, porcelain with a scalloped rim that is trimmed in blue. Research suggests that the period of manufacture is 1986 – 2005.<br><br>These vintage bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or nicks, crazing, cracks or repairs, or staining. I could not even see evidence of utensil markings or bottom wear. IMO, they look new or like new as the photos should attest. <br><br>These bowls measure 4 5/8 inches in diameter (5 ¾ inches handles tip to tip) and stand at 2 ¼ inches. They are dishwasher safe. They would make a great addition to a Riviera collection or used in a unique mix-and-match set. They could also be used as dessert bowls too. Just imagine how fantastic a dessert of strawberry shortcake would look when presented in this bowl!
