Older, super stout western ranch roping saddle with rawhide wrapped tree. 14.5" seat. Marked I 3974 but no other maker marks. Rigging rings are anchor marked (North & Judd).
6 strings need replacement. Tree is sound. Genuine fleece appears to be original. Skirts are 27.5 measured at longest point (notice lower skirt angles forward). Gullet is 6.75” with a bar spread of 11 so SQHB. Saddle has genuine Blevins buckles and nice rigging.
This saddle is heavy and well made. Happy to include rear cinch center plus a cinch of whatever length you need. New latigo included.
One of the pics shows unusual tooling under cantle. This might hint as to maker. Leather stirrups are tall and boxy. As-is.
