First edition of THE EMERALD CITY OF OZ by L. Frank Baum, published by Reilly & Britton of Chicago in 1910. Features color illustrations by John R. Neill.
Bound in blue cloth. The spine is coming away. Shows wear on cover and spine (see photos), as well as cracked hinges. Binding is still fairly tight and solid. Internal pages show yellowing with minimal rips, chips, or folded edges. All 16 original color plates are accounted for and intact (though some are partially detached). Greens are printed in metallic emerald ink.
