Vintage 1930s-40s Effanbee Dy-Dee Baby Doll, 20 inches tall, with rubber body and applied ears.
This vintage baby doll is in good condition for its age. It could benefit from cleaning. The body is rubber, and the head is hard plastic. The doll does not have a strong odor of decay, just a normal rubber scent. There is slight crazing on the arms, normal for a doll of this era. Minor paint wear is present on the head. The doll has applied ears, suggesting a 1940s production date. Sleep eyes function, but the right eye is missing eyelashes. All joints are functional. The doll was originally designed to be fed, with tubing from the mouth to the buttocks, allowing it to "wet" on demand via a plug. Functionality of this feature is untested.
