Vintage DuBonnette 1940’s Heavily Beaded Bag.
Solid, weighty bag, encrusted on all edges and sides with iridescent 'carnival' glass beads. Unusual pleated design and a knotted handle covered in the same beads. The color of the beading is essentially brown, but coppers and golds are also evident. Goldtone metal frame and clip clasp. The interior is lined with a light beige moleskin fabric. One stiffened pocket on the side. The fabric label that reads “Du Bonnette” is fully intact.
Purse measurements approximately: 5.5”X5.5”X5”. Handle has a 5” drop.
