Authentic 1960s Italian Modernist vase, hand-blown by Luigi Mandruzzato for Vetri. This stunning faceted vase features a clear outer layer and grey Sommerso glass. Luigi Mandruzzato, grandfather of Alessandro Mandruzzato, is renowned for his Mid-Century Modern geometric and cubic Murano glass designs.
This 4-sided vase boasts polished sides and top. While in good overall condition, there is a tiny chip on one corner that is difficult to see. Heavy with thick walls and base. Measures 8" H x 2.25" diameter at its widest. Sold as-is. Untested.
