Rare Vintage 1981 Tokai Cat’s Eyes CE-700S acoustic guitar modeled after the Martin D-21 from the mid-1950s. Model number indicates it was a high-end model sold for 70,000 yen in 1981.
Excellent condition overall, especially for a guitar over 40 years old. Technically a “Snappy”, another branding used by Tokai. Early Tokai Cat’s Eyes guitars were made in a joint venture with Martin, using Martin’s designs and American guitar building expertise.
