Vintage 9-inch tall Dominican Republic Folk Art Doll from the 1930s. Made of burnished clay.
This unique doll features a one-piece body and movable arms. The doll appears to be constructed of clay. There are two scratches on her neck and face, which appear to be recent. These imperfections do not detract from the overall beauty and collectibility of this piece.
She is displayed on a wooden stand. Clothes are sewn on and have not been removed for inspection. The doll has been thoroughly examined and is in great condition, considering its age. This is a unique piece of folk art. Sold as-is.
