Vintage Chinese footed porcelain platter (approx. 12" x 10.5" x 2") featuring a hand-painted blue and white map of Japan with stylized ocean waves. Tianbao Mark (most likely a 20th-century homage piece).
Each province is labeled in kanji. The undulating rim and scalloped edges give the platter a sculptural quality. The reverse bears a four-character Qing-style mark:
天保年製 (Tianbao Nian Zhi) – meaning “Made during the Tianbao years.”
Condition: Good vintage condition. Visible chips along one side of the rim (see photos). Sold as is.
