Mid 20th Century Cutco Chillicothe, Ohio Boxed Knife Set. Known as the "World's Finest Cutlery."
Listing is for a set of 8 Vintage Cutco No. 1759 Brown Orange Marbled Thermo-Resin Handled Steak Knives with green felt bottomed storage box. The stainless steel knives are marked No. Cutco 1759 D 75.
Pat No. 3122774 is impressed in one end of the handle and the logo in another.
Cutco knife handles are made from thermo-resin, a durable, BPA-free, & dishwasher-safe material.
Cutco knives also have blades made from high-carbon, stainless steel. This material is sharp, resists rust & corrosion & has superior edge retention.
The knives are 8.5" long, with the blade being 3.5". The brown & orange swirl thermo-resin handles are 5" long. They are all in very nice vintage condition with some minor wear commensurate with age & use.
Still extremely sharp & ready for use at your own table.
The hinged case is approx 10”L X 7.5”W X 1.5”T. There is one small crack in the rear of the box. BSA. As-is condition.
