Vintage Florenza figural brooch from the 1940s-50s inspired by the Japanese Noh Theatre “Hiragata Hannya” mask. Noh is a classical dance-drama performed since the 14th century.
Features unbelievable detail: openwork, etched gold-washed serpentine tree branches with flowers, leaves, and a bird. Adorned with a resin/vintage plastic detailed demon/devil mask, a center faux pearl, and hues of red, navy blue, and green faux Jade.
Large brooch measures approximately 1-7/8” L x 2-1/4” W and fastens with a rollover clasp.
Unmarked Florenza pieces were usually part of a set where another piece (bracelet or necklace) was stamped.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of gold-wash wear. Will arrive in a gift box.
