Vintage framed print featuring an illustrative interpretation of a poem by Hartmann von Starkenberg from the Codex Manesse. Depicts a male blacksmith and a woman bringing him food.
Shows shadow printing of capitals and handwritten verse. Hand-guilded with a lovely glow. Professionally mounted on foam/cardboard backing without glass in a vintage distressed gold wood frame (Mid-century style).
Frame measures approximately 11"W x 15"H (interior opening: ~8.75"W x 13"H). In very good vintage condition with minor wear to the frame typical of age.
