Rare Vintage Gonder Ceramic Arts Fishing Couple Pair, circa 1949, made in the U.S.A. A fabulous estate sale find from Gonder Ceramic Arts of Zanesville, Ohio (1941-1957). Untested, sold as-is.
These glossy gray ceramic figures feature impressive detail. Each measures 14” H x 11” W x 4” D, depicting a couple in traditional chinoiserie robes carrying a yolk with bamboo water pails.
In pristine vintage condition (approximately 75 years old) with original parts. No chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Marked 'COPYRIGHT 1949 GONDER CERAMIC ARTS' on the back.
