Vintage Marionette String Puppets - Clarabell, Patty, Howdy Doody - 1950s - Original Box - Untested

Rare vintage lot of Marionette String Puppets from the 1950s NBC show Howdy Doody: Clarabell & Patty. Made by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc, designed by Raye Copeland with Unitrol hand controls.

From the original owner, barely used and stored for decades. Boxes mostly intact, some repairs, small rips, holes/tears overall. Tops & bottoms included, no writing, light damage/wear like smudge/age spots, minor dents/wrinkles. Some corners have come loose. No stickers, some box parts fully intact/shiny. Strings slightly tangled but look almost new. Clarabel's name tag came loose. Puppets are untested, sold as-is, but look excellent - almost new. Possible slight age/play or paint wear. No writing, tears, breaks, missing pieces, or visible damage. Not an expert.
